sound baths

A Sound Bath or Sound Bath Meditation is a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that is an extremely useful tool to ease stress, relieve anxiety and generally increase a feeling of well being.

As a valuable life-enhancing experience, you simply sit or lie back, relax and listen, allowing the waves of sound vibrations created by Gongs, Crystal and Tibetan bowls and other instruments to wash over and through you.

Not only do the sound frequencies affect the brainwaves that in turn influence the mind and body, but the resonant, all encompassing sounds of the Sound Bath have an immediate positive tuning effect on the physical “water “of the body.  This is because the body is made up of 70% water and water is a great conductor of sound.

It’s not unusual for participants to notice physical improvements as well as a deep feeling of peace after each Sound Bath. A session typically last around 45 minutes to an hour.

We have twice monthly Evening Sound Bath sessions  running in Wells on Wednesday evenings at Wells Methodist Church. Please email Jo at jo@somersetartswell.co.uk for more details.

Alternatively, if you are interested in booking a Sound Bath for a group, team building or corporate event then please contact Jo to discuss options.
