Our group was launched as "Singing for the Brain" by Eliza Wylie and Emma Wheat in Wells in January 2022 for those affected by Dementia and their carers. We started with 4 members and have now grown to up to 40 and our groups include a diverse range of people affected by memory loss and their families as well as younger people with additional needs. Joanne Coomber came on board and she and Emma launched a Glastonbury group in January 2023.  Our groups are very inclusive and welcome people of all ages who want to join our community.

Our "Music for Wellbeing" group is a singing group with a difference and will always include some of the following activities.

Our participants have been hugely enthusiastic about the group and we have a loyal following. We have taken our interactive music groups to the Wells Memory Cafe and the Lawrence Centre and are doing our best to get information out to all who may need the group.

Please register your interest with us if you would like to come along and try one of the groups. The group is run on a drop in basis and costs £5 per person to include refreshments.
